Project Black Pebble Phase1

The project “Black Pebble” is an AI based IoT service for monitoring the temperature and humidity in the reptile vivarium.

 

It provides the real-time monitoring application and the users can remotely check the temperature and humidity in their vivariums. The main feature of this service is AI based monitoring. 

 

It provides the prediction service of the temperature and humidity through time-series based machine learning. It helps the users to check if the temperature and humidity are normal in their vivariums.

 

•Served as an AI engineer for developing the prediction module based on Docker container. The development environment is as follows.

- Used python language for implementing the prediction module.

- Implemented Docker container module for the prediction. By including all of the python packages and the other development dependancies in the Docker container module, it makes the deployment easy.

- Implemented the Prophet time-series model of python package for the prediction.

- Implemented REST API interface of the prediction module based on Flask.

- Stored the prediction result in MongoDB.
